Shopping Presets
Unlock exclusive airline content for your agency using BookingPad's 'Preset' function. Easily create templates for various fare types to access Special Fares by defining:
- Preferences: Negotiated, marine, tour operator fares, and more
- PTCs
- Qualifiers: Account IDs or promo codes
- Preferred airlines
Effortlessly customize your content to match your agency's needs.
How to set up Presets
All agents inside the same agency will have access to the same presets
Access the Presets page either from the dropdown filter while shopping or the Settings at the top.
At the top right of the page, you will see options to Export, Import and Add new presets
Create your preset
Click on the ➕ icon to start configuring your preset
You will be asked for the following information:
- Title: name your preset
- Airline: define the applicable airline
- PTC: map it to the required PTC of the selected airline + preference. Add new ones if necessary.
- Preference: Fare types (create new ones if not displayed inside the list)
- Qualifier: Account/Contract ID or Promo Code provided by the airline.
Click "Save" upon completion.
You will now be able to see your new preset in a table on the Presets page along with options to delete it, mark it as Default or Mandatory.
Default or Mandatory preset
Managers can enforce the use of one specific Preset for all searches by marking them as Mandatory. This ensures that all agents shop using the required settings.
Please note, it is not possible to select multiple Mandatory presets.
The Default Preset option allows agencies to select a particular Preset for agents when they shop. Agents still have the flexibility to change it if needed.
How to use Presets
Choose the presets you need from the dropdown along with other details before searching. It is possible to select multiple presets.
A search will be sent for:
- Every Preset - search for the "Special Fare"
- Every Provider that is selected in "Providers", including the "All" option - a generic search
Please note that, if you selected a preset with a particular airline, a separate generic search will not be requested even if that same airline is selected in "Providers".
Example:
- Nego Fare preset with LH, AF and BA selected
- "All" Providers selected
- Search will be sent as follows: Special fare with LH, AF, BA + generic search for all other Providers EXCEPT for LH, AF, BA
Your search results will align with the selected preset:
