BookingPad Chrome Extension

This BookingPad extension allows you compare the content, and specially prices, between GDS (Amadeus) and NDC (Airgateway). All you need to do is to download this extension to your browser, which is completely for free, and start shopping in Amadeus.

How it works

Click on the image below to access the BookingPad Chrome extension and download by clicking on "Add to Chrome":

Click on the icon and log into your AirGateway account in the browser.

Once you log in, set the currency.

Open Amadeus and start shopping. The extension will automatically search in BookingPad for the same flights, and, if results are found, they will be displayed in the pop up window for you to compare the offers and prices.

Click 'Open' to be redirected to BookingPad where you can continue with the booking.

How to apply for activation on the airline's side.

IB automatically activates all special fares when it activates NDC content by default.

If you are unable to find the special fares in your IAG portal, and therefore also in Booking Pad, you should contact IB directly at this email address: IBNDC.Support@iberia.es

If you are not aware of how to load the special presets fare previously validated by the airline, you can open a ticket with us through our Support Channel.

Preferences: Negotiated, marine, tour operator fares, and more
PTCs
Qualifiers: Account IDs or promo codes
Preferred airlines

How to set up Presets

All agents inside the same agency will have access to the same presets

Access the Presets page either from the dropdown filter while shopping or the Settings at the top.

At the top right of the page, you will see options to Export, Import and Add new presets

Create your preset

Click on the ➕ icon to start configuring your preset

You will be asked for the following information:

Title: name your preset
Airline: define the applicable airline
PTC: map it to the required PTC of the selected airline + preference. Add new ones if necessary.
Preference: Fare types (create new ones if not displayed inside the list)
Qualifier: Account/Contract ID or Promo Code provided by the airline.

Order Rebook - Itinerary Changes

Where to make changes

In case you want to make changes in the order such as date or airport, click on the option Order Rebook at the bottom of the order page.

In case you have several segments in your order, you will see a window below the route saying 'Keep segment'. If you don't want to make changes in this segment, leave it as it is and continue to the segment that you want to change.

If there is only one segment in the order, you will see a window saying 'Change segment'.

What can be changed

Most providers allow date changes, several allow also the change of origin/destination airport.

Date Change

Click on the calendar icon and select a new date.
Search and select a new flight from the offer.

||| IMPORTANT: When adjusting a booking where the new outbound flight departs after the original return flight, you must first reschedule the return flight to a later date before modifying the outbound flight. This sequence is essential in BookingPad to avoid unsupported changes and ensure a smooth update process.

PDF Download and Customization

Once you create an order in Bookingpad (on-hold or ticketed), it's possible to download order details in PDF.

This can be done through 2 buttons:

Legacy PDF
Download Itinerary

The Legacy PDF allows you to check/uncheck the disclosure you would like to show on the document. The Itinerary shows all the itinerary details, without the possibility to check/uncheck disclosures.

It is important to note that, with the last update, the documents will not be sent to the email but will be only available for download.

PDF and Email Customization

We are able to add your agency logo and color to your template. If you require further customization, you'll need to send us the new template done with Liquid so we can add it to your agency. It's possible to customize both, PDF and email templates.

Fields that can be used in templates for customization:
